Hydraulic Power Packs.



When operating hydraulic power packs, humid air is sucked in from the environment to equalize the pressure, which condenses when the dew point is reached. Corrosion damage, rapid aging of the hydraulic oil and the degradation of additives are promoted, especially in the case of high humidity and temperature fluctuations. The use of the adsorber protects against this condensation damage by drying the incoming air beforehand. The silica gel in the adsorber also changes color to indicate when the adsorber has reached its maximum water absorption capacity.
Damage caused by water
Particles and water are the cause of 80% of malfunctions and damage in hydraulic systems, gearboxes and rolling bearings.
Consequences:
- Hydrolyse – Rapid aging and degradation of additives
- Promotion of corrosion
- Worse lubrication






How adsorbers work on hydraulic units
