The use of a tank air dryer in combination with an overlay of an inert gas, such as nitrogen, is not necessary. The reason lies in the function of both approaches. The nitrogen blanketing generates a continuous overpressure. On the other hand, the adsorber needs a regular negative pressure to dry the sucked air.
